Terrastack is a high-tech geospatial startup incubated in SINE, founded by an IIT Bombay CS alumnus and professor. We are building the rural land stack for India, producing plot and village-level intelligence across vectors such as land record quality, agri productivity, climate risk, infra support, and land valuation. We're looking for people currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or recently graduated. We're based out of IIT Bombay, Powai - office visits are required at least a few times a week hours/week of work is expected. Stipend is Rs. 7,500/month (negotiable).

Responsibilities

  • Con
    duct market research and competitive analysis across sectors including agriculture, financial services, insurance, and government programs
  • Research partners, distributors, and technology providers - with a focus on identifying opportunities for business development
  • Support ops and business strategy by analyzing industry workflows, customer acq processes, and go-to-market approaches of relevant companies
  • Create content for Terrastack including newsletters and case studies to build brand awareness and engagement
  • Assist with special projects and research tasks as the company scales, contributing directly to founder-level decision-making

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or recently graduated (within the last 2 years)
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Based in or around Mumbai, able to work from our Powai office at IIT Bombay multiple times per week
