Job Summary:

The Admission Officer (Sales) will be responsible for guiding prospective students regarding academic programs, admissions procedures, and career pathways while achieving sales and admission targets. This role requires a blend of counseling, relationship-building, and sales skills to convert leads into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students and parents regarding available courses, programs, and career opportunities.
  • Handle walk-ins, telephonic, and online inquiries, converting them into admissions.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and admission targets.
  • Follow up with leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct presentations, seminars, and webinars to promote programs.
  • Maintain updated knowledge about academic programs, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and external partners.
  • Assist in organizing promotional events, open houses, and workshops.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Ensure a high level of student satisfaction and retention.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to understand student needs and provide suitable guidance.
  • Target-oriented mindset with proven sales acumen.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, or ERP tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.
