Job Summary

The Sales Executive / Sales Trainee will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with potential and existing clients, and supporting the sales process from lead generation to closure.

This role offers hands-on exposure to IT sales, client engagement, and solution-based selling while working closely with internal technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers to generate business opportunities.
  • Identify and understand customer needs, providing them with tailored IT solutions and services.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure successful project delivery.

2. Product & Market Knowledge

  • Learn and stay updated on IT products, cloud solutions, and security services.
  • Understand client industries to effectively position Bitchief's offerings.
  • Communicate product value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

3. Sales Operations & CRM Management

  • Manage and track leads through CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other supporting documentation.
  • Participate in sales meetings, client calls, and business reviews.

4. Learning & Growth

  • Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop IT sales and client-handling skills.
  • Work with senior sales managers to understand end-to-end sales lifecycle and negotiation strategies.
  • Contribute ideas for business growth and customer retention initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Basic understanding of IT products and services (software, cloud, and security solutions).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM platforms.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to fast-paced environments and new technologies.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple business language.
