Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a Full-Time position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Sanitation Standards (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated ability to apply sanitation and hygiene protocols in a kitchen environment.
  • Staff Training (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in training and managing kitchen staff for optimal performance.
  • Equipment Maintenance (Mandatory skill): Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting kitchen equipment.
  • Time Management: Ability to effectively assign and manage tasks within a given timeframe, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the kitchen team efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions to team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen stewarding activities to maintain efficient operation.

  • Train and develop stewarding team members, fostering a productive work environment.
  • Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, coordinating with maintenance staff for repairs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and request supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Implement waste management policies to promote sustainability in kitchen practices.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient kitchen support for events and functions.
