Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of our AI-powered education products within the Indian CBSE school market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales to educational institutions and a deep understanding of the school ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our AI education product to CBSE schools in India

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our AI-backed solutions

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with schools and educational institutions

  • Collaborate with the product team to gather market feedback and contribute to product improvement

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently

  • Stay updated on market trends and competitive landscape in the edtech industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 6-8 years of experience in software sales, specifically within the education sector

  • Proven track record of selling technology products to schools and educational institutions

  • In-depth knowledge of the Indian CBSE school system and its decision-making processes

  • Existing network of contacts within the CBSE school market

  • Strong understanding of AI and its applications in education

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
