About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales activities in the education sector. The role involves visiting schools, managing relationships with principals and administrators, and promoting our educational magazine and student admission services.
This position is perfect for someone with 1–2 years of field sales or business development experience who is ready to take on a leadership role and grow within a fast-expanding educational company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with schools, principals, and teachers in the assigned region.
- Visit schools regularly to introduce and promote our magazine and admission services.
- Identify new opportunities to partner with schools for subscriptions and services.
- Lead and guide a small team of field sales representatives (if applicable).
- Plan and execute territory sales strategies to achieve monthly targets.
- Conduct product presentations and promotional activities in schools.
- Follow up on leads, negotiate deals, and ensure timely closures.
- Collect market feedback, competitor insights, and share reports with management.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales data.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (in Business, Marketing, or Education preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, field marketing, or business development — preferably in the education, publishing, or EdTech sector.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence to meet school authorities and pitch services.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to travel locally.
- Basic computer and reporting skills (Excel / CRM / Google Sheets).
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience dealing with schools, coaching centers, or educational institutions.
- Understanding of academic cycles and school decision-making structures.
- Energetic personality with a passion for education and outreach.
