We are looking for a visionary and accomplished Design Head to spearhead our product design and new product development initiatives in the manufacturing domain. This pivotal leadership position demands not only deep technical expertise but also a passion for innovation, creativity, and the ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams to develop next-generation solutions that set industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the end-to-end design journeyfrom conceptualization and prototyping to detailed system design.
  • Drive excellence in CAD modeling, advanced simulations, FMEA, and product validation to deliver robust and reliable solutions.
  • Ensure uncompromising adherence to international standards and regulatory frameworks including MIL-STD, ISO, and other global compliance requirements.
  • Foster seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams spanning R&D, manufacturing, electronics, and quality control.
  • Lead, mentor, and energize a high-performing team of design engineers, cultivating talent and nurturing future leaders.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, material innovations, and design methodologies to continuously elevate organizational capabilities.

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
  • Over 12 years of proven expertise in design engineering and new product development.
  • Mastery of advanced design tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, and Altium.
  • Strong command over design for manufacturability (DFM) and proficiency in PLM systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Solid grounding in systems engineering, rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Prior exposure to defense manufacturing and high-precision engineering environments will be a distinct advantage.
