We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Business Development professionals to come onboard this rocket ship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and Business development, excellent negotiation skills and a strong network among key decision makers in the Insurance category. This is a team handling role across a geographically distributed team and thus being able to motivate and drive the team will be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:


• Business Development: Identify and target potential Insurance partners, develop strategic plans, and execute strategies to onboard and build long-term relationships.


• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Insurance organizations (across channels- Agency, Renewals, Telesales and Bancassurance) to foster collaboration and trust.


• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to understand the organizational structures of Insurance players, expand to new markets and channels and achieve revenue targets.
• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the Insurance space.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, Sales, Alliances, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on product offerings and support partners effectively.


• Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report key business metrics, sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to stakeholders

Qualifications:

  1. 12-14 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management experience in the Insurance category- preferably with Health Insurance or General Insurance companies.

  2. Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  3. Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.

  4. Strong understanding of the Insurance market, industry trends, and customer needs.

  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  6. This is an IC role. Ability to work independently and collaboratively (with internal and external stakeholders) in a fast-paced environment

  7. Willingness to travel as per business requirements
