  • An Account Manager with GST and IT Filing knowledge manages a company's financial records, ensures compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Income Tax regulations, and handles tax filings and audits. Key responsibilities include processing daily transactions, filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), managing TDS compliance, conducting bank and GST reconciliations, preparing financial statements and MIS reports, and supporting internal and external audits. This role requires proficiency in accounting software like Tally, strong understanding of tax laws, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Accounting Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting is typically required.
  • Software Proficiency :Expertise in accounting software like Tally ERP and strong skills in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge :A thorough understanding of GST laws, Income Tax laws, and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Soft Skills :Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience in accounting, particularly with GST and Income Tax return filing.
  • GST Compliance: Prepare and accurately file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) on time and ensure adherence to all GST laws and regulations.
  • IT Filing & TDS:Handle Income Tax Returns (ITR) and manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) payments and filings.
  • Reconciliations:Perform bank reconciliations and conduct GST reconciliations with the government portal.
  • Financial Reporting:Generate periodic MIS reports, financial statements, and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Audits:Coordinate with internal and external auditors for tax, statutory, and GST audits.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation for compliance and audits.
  • Vendor & Client Liaison:Communicate with vendors and clients regarding tax matters and statutory queries.
