Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thane for an Assistant Manager Purchase. The role involves procurement of materials, inventory management, supplier negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet production requirements. The individual will collaborate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships, monitor market trends, and prepare purchase reports for management. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with company policies and assisting in optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships and evaluate market trends.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in a purchase or procurement role; experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required; professional certifications like CPSM or CPIM are a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and uphold strong attention to detail.
