Ensure safeguard and efficiency of the Company assets and resources under the own control. Ensure enforcement of the rules and regulations concerning Safety, Industrial Cleanliness, and Environmental Protection and of all other external entities, whose activity directly affects the GMV technical and production system. Ensure compliance and application of the company rules and instructions included in the service orders, Job descriptions, Service circulars, Inter functional operational procedures, specifications and other official documents issued by the authorized entities (Board, GMV Italy, GMV Group Management, Director – India Operations) Plan the weekly work, assign to the Factory personnel and prepare reporting of the work completed to the Head of Production. Manage FACTORY personnel by setting up relevant jobs, by ensuring motivation, by training and obtaining effective relations Propose ideas, actions and technical solutions in order to optimize the perfect running of own function and responsibility. Define plans to realise these ideas and actions. Cooperate to realise the already approved ones. Keep good working relations with all the other company functions and cooperate to achieve company's general goals.

PURCHASE AND VENDOR DEVELOPMENT  

Find and develop new local suppliers for localization of parts in India. This has to be done under guidance and supervision of HEAD OF PRODUCTION. Educate our Suppliers with our products/parts. Educate suppliers technically to make them aware of QUALITY STANDARDS while producing our products. Provide technical drawings/details to suppliers while localisation 1.1 Establish Reports on NEW SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENTS 1.2 Establish Suppliers's complete information w.r.t. their issues, trainings provided to them etc. Report on new Supplier Developments Number of visits made on a weekly or monthly basis  

PRODUCTION

Participate while selection of Factory personnel. And provide them all necessary training as per the specifications and directives of GMV. Participate in production activities with the support, specifications and directives of GMV Italy AND Head of Production in terms of knowledge of the production factors and labor requirements. Participate in the Quality Controls of outsourced, purchased or manufactured products Assign work to factory personnel on daily basis and ensure completeness of the work. Assist Head of Production/ Purchase to define Stock levels of purchased parts based on the demand from customers Training factory personnel Daily Job Sheets

SOURCING FOR COMPLETE LIFTS  

Identify parts under supervision of HEAD OF PRODUCTION in order to make GMV INDIA more successful in selling COMPLETE LIFT PACKAGES Provide information to Head of Production to define parts to be sourced/developed in India/China Participate in Monthly Review Meetings to provide necessary inputs. Keep up to date database of all interactions with the Suppliers Readiness with the Information 

OTHERS

The employee shall give his assistance to Head of Production in the management of all production activities. In his absence he will take his place. The employee shall give all necessary cooperation while setting up new plant with the support from Technician from GMV Italy
