Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase the hotel's market share in both corporate and leisure segments.

  3. Meet and exceed sales targets by prospecting and identifying potential clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  4. Manage and maintain a pipeline of active leads, ensuring constant follow-up and conversion.
  5. Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting ancillary services (banquets, catering, events, etc.).

  6. Client Relationship Management:

  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, event planners, and corporate accounts.

  8. Conduct client site visits, presentations, and hotel tours to showcase the property and its offerings.
  9. Handle and resolve guest and client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

  10. Market Research and Analysis:

  11. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.

  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions and campaigns aligned with market demand.
  13. Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and strategies for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

  14. Collaboration and Team Leadership:

  15. Work closely with the revenue management and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events, group bookings, and guest stays.

  16. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior sales staff, if applicable.
  17. Attend industry networking events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and increase the hotel's visibility.

  18. Experience:

  19. Sr. Sales Manager: Minimum 8-9 years of experience in a hotel sales role.

  20. Sales Manager: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a hotel sales role.
  21. Assistant Sales Manager: 3-4 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the hospitality industry.

  22. Skills:

  23. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  24. Strong knowledge of hotel, operations, revenue management, and sales techniques.
