Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Executive/ Business Development Manager to expand our client base and strengthen partnerships in the recruitment domain. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our recruitment services to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and market mapping.
Schedule and attend meetings to pitch recruitment services.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Understand client hiring needs, industry trends, and workforce challenges.
Business Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Negotiate terms, service agreements, and pricing with clients.
Collaboration with Recruitment Team:
Coordinate with internal recruiters to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
Provide market insights and client feedback to enhance service delivery.
Market Intelligence:
Keep up to date with industry developments, competitors, and recruitment trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development / sales in the recruitment or staffing industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, hiring cycles, and client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online networking platforms (LinkedIn).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, HR, Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the recruitment or HR consulting sector.
