Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Human Resources (Plant)

Location: Goa

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: AGM - HR

Role Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for independently managing end-to-end HR and compliance operations for the Goa plant and supporting HR coordination for the Basavakalyan and Nashik units. This role will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all plant-level HR matters, ensuring effective execution of people processes, statutory compliance, employee relations, and coordination with corporate HR.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant HR Operations (Goa)

  • Oversee day-to-day HR activities including attendance, leave, and shift management.
  • Review night shift handover reports and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
  • Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation of new joiners.
  • Handle employee grievance redressal, discipline, and communication at the plant.

2. Multi-Plant Coordination (Basavakalyan & Nashik)

  • Act as a coordination point between corporate HR and local teams at Basavakalyan and Nashik units.
  • Track manpower, recruitment status, and compliance submissions from both units.
  • Ensure consistent HR process implementation across all three plants.
  • Support audits, returns, and reporting for these locations in consultation with local representatives.

3. Employee Records & HRMS Management

  • Maintain personal files and HR records for all categories of employees.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of employee data in HRMS for Goa and other units.
  • Process password resets, employee data updates, and access requests through HRMS.

4. Statutory & Factory Compliance

  • Maintain and file all statutory registers and returns under the Factories Act, CLRA, and other labour laws.
  • Ensure contractor compliance, including license validity, labour strength, and statutory documentation.
  • Liaise with factory inspectors, labour officers, and other government authorities.

5. Audit, Inspection & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation for internal, statutory, and external HR audits.
  • Support inspection visits and ensure timely closure of observations across all three plants.

6. FSSAI & Food Safety Requirements

  • Maintain FSSAI licenses, Food Handler fitness certificates, and training records.
  • Ensure food safety compliance in coordination with the QA and Safety teams.

7. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Track open positions, candidate status, and offer rollouts for plant-level hiring.
  • Coordinate with recruitment agencies and corporate HR for manpower fulfilment.
  • Conduct joining formalities and plant induction sessions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Welfare, or Industrial Relations.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Plant HR / Factory HR roles, preferably in FMCG, Beverages, or Manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of Labour Laws, Factory Act, and statutory compliances.
  • Exposure to multi-plant HR coordination or remote site management is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office applications.
