Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Web Analytics Developer to join our Data and Analytics team. This role demands deep technical proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and data layer implementation, with a proven record of delivering GA4 migration projects. Hands-on experience with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) like OneTrust, along with proficiency in Looker Studio and Google BigQuery, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced tracking strategies using Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Lead GA4 migration projects including discovery, planning, tag configuration, and validation.
  • Architect and deploy scalable data layer structures across digital properties.
  • Translate business and product requirements into technical tracking specifications.
  • Configure GA4 events, user properties, and custom dimensions aligned with analytics KPIs.
  • Integrate GTM with Consent Management Platforms, preferably OneTrust, to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Validate and debug tracking using browser tools, GTM/GA debuggers, and network inspection.
  • Support reporting by configuring data flows to Looker Studio and working with BigQuery datasets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in web analytics implementation.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Strong understanding of data layer design and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience integrating with Consent Management Platforms, preferably OneTrust.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and reports using Looker Studio.
  • Working knowledge of Google BigQuery for querying and validating analytics data.
  • Strong debugging skills using browser dev tools, tag debugging extensions, and GA/GTM validation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other CMPs such as TrustArc or Sourcepoint.
  • Familiarity with alternative data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager certifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder alignment capability.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to technical detail.
  • Ability to work independently and lead implementation across cross-functional teams.
