As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and strengthen our digital, AI capabilities, we are seeking a Data Analyst, BI and Reporting. What You'll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate effective stakeholder management skills to ensure the effective delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting activities, including managing BAU processes.
  • BI and Reporting Product Oversight: Support and oversee BI and reporting products, ensuring they meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Data Integration: Facilitate collaboration and integration across various Business Intelligence models and reporting frameworks to enhance data consistency and insights.
  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to strategic initiatives by providing expertise in BI and reporting, supporting the development of the function and related capabilities.
  • Talent Development and Inclusion: Foster talent development within the BI and Reporting team, promoting inclusion and diversity to maximize the value derived from digital, data, and analytics assets.
  • Customer-Centric Service Delivery: Prioritize customer-centric service delivery by understanding and addressing the needs of business stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement and Skill Development: Support the ongoing enhancement of BI and Reporting tools, develop technical and soft skills within the team, and cultivate a positive team culture that drives impact.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit effective communication skills for effective reporting, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Learning and Innovation: Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adopting new BI technologies and methodologies to enhance team capabilities.

You will report to Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Reporting.

Required Skills And Abilities

  • Educational Qualification: Holds a minimum of a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Digital and Data Passion: Has a passion for digital, data, and AI, with experience working within a digital and data-driven organization.
  • Ethical Judgement: Demonstrates ethical judgment in handling data and business information.
  • Digital Literacy: Possesses digital literacy, understanding digital tools, trends, and innovations.
  • Business and Insurance Acumen: Understands relevant business and insurance concepts applicable to the role.
  • BI Tool Experience: Relevant years of end-user experience with BI tools like Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Data Languages and Tools: Intermediate proficiency in SQL, Excel (including advanced features), MS Access, and VBA.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Capable of developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Able to troubleshoot technical issues and guide team members in technical tasks.
