Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The impact you will make

The business intelligence analyst will fill a key role in sourcing, analyzing and reporting customer data to business stakeholders. The role will leverage financial, customer and operational data to identify business insights and performance improvement opportunities. This role will work closely with the customer ops and insights team to develop a comprehensive reporting solution for the customer organization.

What you will do

• Drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to business stakeholders.
• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external data sources.
• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
• Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives.
• Create financial performance and business pro forma analysis.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Provide reporting solutions and complete ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas.
• Participate in the design and development of business intelligence reports and analysis.

What you will bring

• Experience: 4+ years' experience in financial, customer and/or operational analysis and reporting
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Analysis or similar degree
• Technology Skills: Microsoft Excel analysis and modeling, Microsoft SQL data extraction and analysis, Microsoft PowerPoint presentation building and formatting, and visualization tools like Microsoft PowerBI
• Analytic Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to distill large data sets into meaningful insights and takeaways.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a cross-functional, matrix organization.
• Communication Skills: Well-versed in methods to effectively identify and process stakeholder requirements. Well-developed 'influencing without authority' skills.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with internal clients to ensure positive customer experience
• Project Management Skills: Ability to work on and execute several projects simultaneously
