Role & responsibilities :

  • Financial administration: Process invoices, payments, and expense reports; reconcile accounts and manage petty cash; and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Financial reporting: Assist with budget preparation, create financial statements, and prepare tax filings.
  • Payroll management: Calculate and process employee wages and ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursements.
  • Administrative support: Manage office supplies, coordinate meetings and travel, and handle general correspondence.
  • Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies; liaise with auditors and government bodies.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Accounting and financial skills: Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and tax preparation.
  • Software proficiency: Expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Organizational skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and maintain detailed records.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external correspondence, and for coordinating with various parties.
  • Attention to detail: Impeccable accuracy is crucial for handling financial data and ensuring compliance.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
