We are hiring a Technical Support Specialist for our company based in UK.
Timings: You will be working UK shift times from 10 AM to 6:30 PM UK Time.
Start at approximately 02:30 pm and finish at 11:00pm (India Time).
Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
(Apply only if you are comfortable with the shift timings.)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday plus half days on every alternate Saturday.
About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team. You'll play a key role in providing day-to-day IT and VoIP support, assisting with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and contributing to various ad hoc administrative and technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line and second-line technical support for IT and VoIP systems.
- Assist with configuration, setup, and troubleshooting of VoIP phones, networks, and hardware.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues where necessary.
- Support general IT infrastructure (Windows, networking, printers, etc.).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and hardware inventories.
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and ongoing technical projects.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records of technical activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Interest in automation or process improvement projects.
