IDEA Foundation is a leading technology company committed to delivering innovative solutions that elevate user experience and drive operational excellence. We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing and basic understanding or hands-on experience in Automation tools. Responsibilities:1. Manual Testing (Primary Role):

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, UI/UX, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproducible steps.
  • Validate software against business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects or inconsistencies.

3. Regression & Re-testing:

  • Execute regression testing cycles after every release or code change.
  • Ensure all resolved issues are re-tested thoroughly.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed test summary reports and defect logs.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, test data, and test execution results.

5. Bug Tracking:

  • Use tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello) to log and monitor defects.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

6. Collaboration:

  • Partner with developers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

7. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry practices and QA methodologies.
  • Recommend process optimizations to enhance testing quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • Basic knowledge or working experience with Automation Tools.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
