About the Role
The Account Manager (Fintech) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving the adoption of fintech products and services. This role acts as the main point of contact between clients and the company, coordinating internal resources to deliver solutions that meet client objectives while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
- Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and workflows to provide tailored fintech solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations.
Account Growth & Retention
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell fintech products and services.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to present new solutions to clients.
- Monitor account health and implement strategies to maximize retention and satisfaction.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate internal resources (product, operations, support, and technical teams) to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Oversee onboarding, integration, and implementation of fintech solutions for clients.
- Track project milestones and communicate progress to clients and internal stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track account metrics such as usage, adoption, revenue, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports and insights for clients and internal leadership.
- Recommend improvements to products or services based on client feedback and performance data.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure client accounts comply with applicable fintech regulations, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
- Support KYC/AML processes, data privacy compliance, and risk assessments as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of account management, client success, or relationship management experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial technology products, platforms, and operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise clients, SaaS, payments, digital banking, or lending platforms.
- Familiarity with fintech regulations (KYC/AML, PSD2/Open Banking, data privacy laws).
- CRM software experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Proactive, client-focused mindset with an ability to drive results.
