Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collections Manager to lead and manage collections operations. The role involves strategizing recovery efforts, managing field and tele-calling teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines (RBI, legal norms), and improving collection efficiency while maintaining customer relationships and protecting the company's financial interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Collections Operations: Oversee collections of overdue accounts across secured/unsecured loan portfolios (Personal Loans, Business Loans, etc.)
  • Strategy Development & Execution: Devise and implement collection strategies for early, mid, and late-stage buckets (DPD wise).
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and train in-house and outsourced collection teams, including field agents and tele-callers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor recovery rates, agent performance, and portfolio health using MIS reports and analytics.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure collections practices are in line with RBI, SEBI, and company guidelines. Handle legal escalations, settlements, and arbitration cases.
  • Vendor & Agency Coordination: Manage third-party collection agencies and ensure adherence to SLAs and performance KPIs.
  • Customer Interaction: Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and maintain customer satisfaction during sensitive interactions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on collection status, risk exposure, and recovery metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in collections, recovery, or credit control roles (BFSI/Fintech preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of collection laws & RBI regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel, collection tools/CRM
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Leadership & team management capabilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
