About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance - Senior Consultant with a solid finance background and recognised professional certifications such as CPA or equivalent (CA, ACCA).

This is not a junior or step-up position were looking for a seasoned professional who combines strong Dynamics 365 Finance functional expertise with deep financial knowledge and practical experience in accounting, compliance, and financial management.

You will lead finance workstreams in complex ERP implementations, guiding clients through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance best practices, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and helping deliver transformation programs that generate real business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance workstream in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations projects.
• Work closely with CFOs, Finance Managers, and key stakeholders to gather requirements, define processes, and align solutions to accounting standards and compliance needs.
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Project Accounting, and Taxation.
• Potential for design and deploy of AI agents for tasks such as predictive cash flow analysis, intelligent invoice matching, expense optimisation, and automated financial reporting.
• Facilitate finance-focused workshops, training, and change management activities.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper integration with other business systems.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to consultants and clients.
• Support project governance, risk management, and quality assurance.

About You Skills & Experience

• 5 –10+ years of ERP implementation experience, with at least 3–5 years in Dynamics 365 Finance (or AX) across multiple end-to-end projects.
• A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA (mandatory).
• Must be willing to travel to Australia and New Zealand for workshops.
• Strong functional expertise in core and advanced finance modules within Dynamics 365.
• Deep knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and financial controls.
• Experience working with finance leadership teams in medium to large organisations.
• Excellent problem-solving, solution design, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with both finance and technical teams.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification highly regarded.
