Overview The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations - Senior Technical Consultant plays a critical role in our organization by spearheading the technical implementation and optimization of the Dynamics 365 platform. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and client stakeholders. The consultant is responsible for not only addressing complex technical challenges but also ensuring that systems are designed and implemented to meet business requirements. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Senior Technical Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and delivering high-quality solutions that maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations. The importance of this role cannot be overstated, as it directly contributes to client satisfaction, project success, and overall business growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
  • Design and develop system architectures tailored to client requirements.
  • Manage and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to Dynamics 365.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to gather and define technical specifications.
  • Develop custom integrations between Dynamics 365 and other third-party systems.
  • Optimize performance of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in upgrade planning and execution for existing Dynamics solutions.
  • Document technical processes and system configurations to ensure compliance and continuity.
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards for data analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest Dynamics 365 features and industry trends.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and assistance.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and design reviews.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 Finance & Operations.
  • Strong background in ERP system implementation and customization.
  • Proficiency in X++ programming language and C#.
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database management.
  • Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a client-facing consulting role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 are preferred.
  • Understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements.
