Position Overview:

As a Lead Content Strategist for Computer Science and AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategy for our digital content offerings in computer science, AI, and related subjects. You will oversee the design, development, and delivery of K-12 curriculum content, ensuring it is aligned with current industry trends, educational standards, and the needs of modern learners. You will lead a team of content developers and subject matter experts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging, high-quality educational resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Curriculum Leadership

a. Lead the development and continuous improvement of the K-12 Computer Science and AI curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and international educational standards.

b. Define and update learning objectives for various grade levels and ensure the curriculum fosters foundational and advanced knowledge of computer science and AI concepts.

c. Ensure the curriculum is inclusive, accessible, and engaging for all learners, from beginners to advanced students.

2.
Content Strategy & Development

a. Oversee the creation and implementation of high-quality, interactive, and engaging digital content (videos, question bank, assessments, interactivities, projects, etc.) for Computer Science and AI subjects.

b. Collaborate with other stakeholders and content developers to build scalable and adaptable content across multiple platforms.

c. Integrate best practices from industry (coding, data science, AI) to keep the curriculum up-to-date and future-facing.

3.Team Management & Development

a. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of subject matter experts.

b. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure professional development opportunities for team members.

c. Promote a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

4.Cross-functional Collaboration

a. Work closely with the technology, product, and marketing teams to align content with the company's overall strategic objectives and ensure smooth integration with the platform.

b.Collaborate with educators and industry professionals to gather feedback on the effectiveness and relevance of the content.

5.Quality Assurance & Impact Measurement

a. Oversee the quality assurance process for all content, ensuring it meets academic rigor and is free from errors.

b. Use data and feedback from educators, students, and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and make iterative improvements.

c. Ensure that content is scalable across various learning environments (classrooms, virtual learning, self-paced study, etc.).

6.Innovation & Research

a. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in computer science, AI, and K-12 education, and integrate relevant innovations into the curriculum.

b. Promote the integration of project-based learning, hands-on activities, and real-world applications in AI and computer science education.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Experience:

o Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within curriculum development or content creation in the field of computer science, or AI for school students.

o Strong understanding of K-12 education, learning frameworks, and pedagogical best practices.

o Experience in designing, developing, and implementing digital learning content for a range of learners.

o Proven track record of successfully leading teams, managing projects, and delivering high-quality educational content.

• Skills & Competencies:

o Expertise in computer science, AI, coding languages (Python, Java, etc.), and related fields.

o Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

o Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.

o Familiarity with modern educational technologies, platforms, and tools.

o Ability to balance technical depth with educational accessibility for younger audiences.

o Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking and analyzing learning outcomes.

• Preferred Skills:

o Teaching or Content development experience in Computer Science or AI a

o Familiarity with coding and online education platforms

o Experience with assessment design, certification programs, and competency-based education.
