Job Summary:
The HSE Manager will be responsible for implementing the organization's HSE policy, managing manpower metrics, providing HSE training, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance, conducting risk assessments, preparing SOPs, implementing permit-to-work systems, promoting sustainability, overseeing emergency response plans, conducting mock drills, and awareness campaigns to achieve the organization's objective of zero injury.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. HSE Policy Implementation
  • Implementation of Organization HSE Policy, Life Saving Rules (LSR), and HSE requirements at the workplace to meet the organization's Objective of ZERO injury at the workplace.
2. Training and Awareness
  • Provide HSE training to all employees at all levels to meet the requirements of ISO 45001 & 14001 in our area of operation.
  • Conduct Mock drills to check the effectiveness of the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
  • Conduct an Awareness campaign to promote HSE among employees.
3. Inspection and Compliance
  • Conduct all kinds of Health and Safety inspections of the workplace and ensure compliance to provide a healthy and safe workplace for all partners, contractors, employees, and workers.
4. Risk Assessment and SOPs
  • Conduct a Risk assessment of all activities and implement control measures.
  • Prepare SOPs for all construction-related activities to ensure safety.
5. PTW and Sustainability
  • Implement a Permit-to-Work (PTW) system to streamline project activity.
  • Calculate key indicators, such as energy and Water consumption, and tree plantation at the project site to ensure sustainability parameters.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • B.Tech/M.Tech/Diploma Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & HSE diploma/Certifications.
  • 7 to 15 years of relevant experience working with renewables (wind projects), transmission & distribution, and power generation sectors
  • Understanding of Indian/Iso Standards.
