Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Network Design & Implementation – Pre-Design

• Conduct feasibility studies for power evacuation with a focus on optimal PSS design and integration.

• Prepare BOQ and detailed technical specifications specifically for Power Substations (PSS), along with 33 KV and EHV systems.

• Finalize survey and layout for 33 KV and EHV lines, ensuring alignment with PSS location, minimizing losses, and optimizing cost.

• Collaborate with HO and procurement teams to prepare work order specifications that prioritize timely grid connectivity through robust PSS planning.

• Lead planning, execution, and commissioning of PSS infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, SCADA systems, and associated grid components.

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, WTG manufacturers, and government agencies to ensure smooth execution of PSS and related electrical works.

• Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and GTPs for PSS, EHV lines, 33 KV lines, USS, and SCADA systems.

• Oversee commissioning and HOTO of all electrical systems, with special attention to PSS readiness and compliance. 

1. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure that all work is executed primarily in adherence to HSE standards and quality norms.

1. Monitoring, Reviewing & Reporting

• Preparation of progress report as per management requirements.

• Monitoring and review of works and escalating critical issues to the Project Head for timely action.

• Conduct monthly meetings with the contractor and share reports. 

1. Training & Development

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and enhancing soft skills.

• Proactively foreseeing the impacts of various changes in laws and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• B.TECH (Electrical)/Diploma (Electrical)
• 4+ years of experience in Wind Farm Electricals.
• Understanding of Regulatory Affairs and approvals.
• Understanding Grid components and their working.
