We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. The role involves creating, developing, and optimizing designs for innovative products, systems, and components. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD tools, and the ability to translate concepts into manufacturable designs that meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test components, assemblies, and systems from concept to production.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, CAD models, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and simulations to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, R&D, quality, procurement, testing) to ensure feasibility and compliance with project requirements.
  • Review and improve existing designs for cost-effectiveness, durability, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulations.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain clear documentation of design changes, revisions, and approvals.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input for product improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Design Engineer (experience in [your industry, e.g., aerospace, drones, automotive, electronics, etc.] is a plus).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
  • Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools and simulation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in PCB design and electrical systems integration (if relevant).
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and validation.
  • Exposure to industry standards (ISO, ASME, IEC, DGCA, FAA, etc.).
