Project Lead / Project Manager: -Installation of Wind Turbine

Job Summary:

  1. A proven individual with experience in Installation of Wind turbine.
  2. The Project Manager ensures timely delivery, adherence to safety and quality standards, cost control, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Wind turbine Installation process. Knowledge of different cranes.

Responsibilities
:

  1. Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for wind turbine installation
  2. Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and milestones.
  3. Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements, and contractual obligations.
  4. Lead and manage site teams including engineers, supervisors, technicians, labours, Vendors.
  5. Coordinate logistics of cranes, transport, tools, and materials.
  6. Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at site.
  7. Implement Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures during installation.
  8. Act as primary point of contact for clients, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams.
  9. Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to management and customers.
  10. Resolve conflicts, risks, and issues promptly to avoid delays.
  11. Approve vendor/subcontractor invoices as per contract terms.
  12. Ensure documentation, punch list clearance, and handover to client
  13. Timely closure of audit points and report submission.
  14. RCA & CAPA & its implementation.
  15. Providing training to Installation team about SOP, good practices.

Qualifications
:

  1. B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 8–12 years of experience in wind energy, with at least 4–5 years in project management roles.

Working conditions
:

  1. The current work location is Gadag area Karnataka.
  2. Should be ready to work on Pan India basis.
