- Business development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by targeting potential customers, including architects, builders, contractors, and interior designers.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential customers to secure repeat business.
- Sales strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets for marble, plywood, and related products.
- Client meetings: Travel to client locations and construction sites to conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
- Negotiation and closing: Discuss pricing, specifications, and contract terms with clients to close profitable sales deals.
- Market intelligence: Gather and analyze market and competitor information to help inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Reporting: Track sales activities, manage customer data in a CRM system, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
Key skills and qualifications
- Proven sales experience: A track record of success in field sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.
- Product knowledge: In-depth understanding of the different types and applications of marble, plywood, laminates, and veneers.
- Excellent communication: The ability to present product features clearly and persuasively, and to listen actively to customer needs.
- Negotiation skills: Confidence and skill in negotiating pricing and terms to close deals.

- CRM proficiency: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, manage accounts, and report on sales activity.
- Driving skills: A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory are essential.
