Lead, Inspire, and Shape the Future of Coding Education

Champ Code Academy, a premier online coding school for kids aged 7-12, is looking for a Assistant Head Tutor to oversee our growing team of passionate coding educators. If you have a strong background in coding education, leadership experience, and a drive to enhance online learning experiences, we want you on board

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and post job listings across relevant job boards and platforms
  • Screen applications and shortlist qualified tutor candidates
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates for teaching and technical skills
  • Onboard new tutors with the necessary tools, processes, and company expectations
  • Train tutors on our curriculum, classroom management style, and teaching systems (e.g., Zoom, Code Builder, Roblox Studio)
  • Monitor the performance of new tutors during their probation period
  • Collaborate with the academic and operations team to ensure smooth deployment of tutors to live classes

Requirements:

  • Experience in recruitment, training, education, or HR roles (bonus if in EdTech or tutoring)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and proactive with good time management
  • Comfortable with online tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, scheduling systems)
  • A passion for education, mentorship, and helping others grow
