Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished
Life & Annuity (L&A) Insurance Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME)
with strong presales, solutioning, and consulting experience. The role involves building domain competency, supporting presales and RFP responses, developing accelerators and whitepapers, and guiding delivery teams for Life & Annuities transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a
    Presales and Functional SME
    for the Life & Annuity (L&A) insurance domain, supporting solution design, RFP/RFI responses, and client assessments.
  • Build
    domain and platform competencies
    by developing frameworks, whitepapers, and reusable assets.
  • Lead
    business solutioning
    and assess client needs in areas like new business, policy administration, billing, claims, correspondence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Apply
    techno-functional knowledge
    to identify automation and
    GenAI use cases
    relevant to L&A operations.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in
    Policy Administration Systems
    such as
    FAST, ALIP, OIPA, DXC, FINEOS
    , etc.
  • Work with
    commissioning systems
    like
    P+, DSS, AMS, Callidus, VUE
    , etc., covering product configuration, requirement implementation, data mapping, and reconciliation.
  • Drive
    policy data conversion
    and
    functional testing
    across multiple policy administration systems.
  • Bring in
    industry best practices
    , analyst recommendations, and thought leadership for business transformation initiatives.
  • Mentor and groom L&A Business Analysts and collaborate effectively in
    onsite/offshore delivery models
    .

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of overall industry experience
    , including
    10+ years in the Life & Annuity domain
    .
  • Proven experience in
    presales, solutioning, and client consulting
    within the insurance domain.
  • Strong understanding of
    Life, Annuity, Retirement (Pension), and Employee Benefits
    product lines.
  • Depth of understanding of
    L&A business processes
    —new business, policy admin, billing, compliance, and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with
    industry trends, best practices, and analyst reports
    in the L&A space.
  • Professional certifications such as
    CBAP, CCBA, LOMA, or III
    preferred.
  • Experience working with
    UK or European insurance clients
    is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to work effectively as a
