Role & responsibilities
Marketplace Performance & Optimization (Amazon & Flipkart)
- KPI Management: Own key metrics (ROAS, ROI, ACOS, sales, profitability) across both platforms.
- Campaign Execution: Plan and optimize paid campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) for growth and efficiency.
- Listing & SEO: Collaborate with content team to optimize listings for visibility and conversions.
Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Platform Development & Growth
- Strategy: Drive go-to-market, CRO, and retention for the brands e-commerce site.
- Channel Management: Launch and manage key D2C channels (Google Ads, Meta, Email) with a focus on high-ROI, low-cost tactics like SEO and automation.
- Analytics: Set up performance tracking (GA, Tag Manager) to optimize user journeys and LTV.
Strategy, Leadership & Budget Management
- Budgeting: Strategically allocate a lean marketing budget across D2C and marketplaces for max ROI.
- Team Alignment: Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive key marketing KPIs.
- Experimentation: Promote data-driven A/B testing and innovation across all channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in E-commerce Marketing, with significant experience managing paid campaigns on major Indian marketplaces (Amazon Seller Central/Ads, Flipkart Ads).
- Data Proficiency: Exceptional analytical skills and fluency in performance marketing metrics (ROAS, ROI, CPA, LTV). Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable strategies.
- Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of the D2C ecosystem, including experience with a major e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify).
- Budgeting: Demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive growth targets within a limited marketing budget.
- Soft Skills: High ownership,self-starter mentality, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
