An e-commerce manager oversees a company's online sales and digital presence, responsible for digital marketing strategies, website design and functionality, sales data analysis, customer experience optimization, and overall growth. Key duties include developing and executing online marketing campaigns, managing website analytics to improve conversion rates, coordinating with marketing, IT, and product teams, and enhancing the online shopping experience to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. Core Responsibilities

  • Website Management: Ensure the e-commerce platform is user-friendly, monitor its design and functionality, and oversee technical aspects to improve navigation and customer experience.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing, to attract traffic and drive sales.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze website analytics, sales data, and customer feedback to refine strategies, identify trends, and improve performance.
  • Sales & Conversion Optimization: Optimize the online sales funnel, implement promotional strategies, and enhance the customer journey to increase conversion rates.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate e-commerce teams, including hiring, training, and guiding new members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT, product, and customer service departments to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive online strategy.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Create budgets for e-commerce activities and manage vendor agreements and relationships.
  • Product Rollout: Oversee the implementation of new product launches on the e-commerce site, creating necessary content and landing pages.
