Role Overview:
The General Manager – Talent Acquisition will spearhead the company's end-to-end hiring strategy across domestic and overseas projects , ensuring a strong talent pipeline that supports global business expansion. This role requires a strategic TA leader with deep experience in scaling recruitment operations, employer branding, technology-driven hiring, and building high-performing TA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the company's talent acquisition strategy to support business objectives.
- Partner with leadership and BU heads to understand workforce needs and create annual hiring plans.
Build long-term talent pipelines for critical roles and niche skill sets.
Recruitment Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all verticals – corporate, technical, sales, manufacturing, etc.
- Ensure hiring SLAs are met (TAT, quality of hire, cost per hire).
- Implement structured competency-based assessments and interview frameworks.
Drive diversity hiring initiatives across levels.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of TA managers, recruiters, and coordinators.
- Set performance KPIs and ensure continuous capability building within the team.
Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and collaboration.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage recruitment partners, search firms, and campus relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, fees, and evaluate vendor performance.
Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on talent availability and market trends.
Employer Branding
Strengthen employer branding through digital platforms, social media, and partnerships.
- Lead initiatives to enhance candidate experience and company visibility.
Oversee employee engagement campaigns for talent attraction.
Process Excellence & Technology
Optimize the recruitment tech stack (ATS, sourcing tools, assessments).
- Drive automation and analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Implement best practices for data-driven hiring and predictive talent analytics.
Leadership Hiring
Personally lead hiring for senior leadership & critical roles.
Build succession pipelines in collaboration with HRBP & L&D teams.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with labour laws, audit norms, and data privacy regulations.
- Present weekly/monthly reports and dashboards to management.
