Role Overview:

The General Manager – Talent Acquisition will spearhead the company's end-to-end hiring strategy across domestic and overseas projects , ensuring a strong talent pipeline that supports global business expansion. This role requires a strategic TA leader with deep experience in scaling recruitment operations, employer branding, technology-driven hiring, and building high-performing TA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning

  2. Develop and execute the company's talent acquisition strategy to support business objectives.

  3. Partner with leadership and BU heads to understand workforce needs and create annual hiring plans.

  4. Build long-term talent pipelines for critical roles and niche skill sets.

  5. Recruitment Operations Management

  6. Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all verticals – corporate, technical, sales, manufacturing, etc.

  7. Ensure hiring SLAs are met (TAT, quality of hire, cost per hire).
  8. Implement structured competency-based assessments and interview frameworks.

  9. Drive diversity hiring initiatives across levels.

  10. Team Leadership

  11. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of TA managers, recruiters, and coordinators.

  12. Set performance KPIs and ensure continuous capability building within the team.

  13. Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and collaboration.

  14. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  15. Manage recruitment partners, search firms, and campus relationships.

  16. Negotiate contracts, fees, and evaluate vendor performance.

  17. Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on talent availability and market trends.

  18. Employer Branding

  19. Strengthen employer branding through digital platforms, social media, and partnerships.

  20. Lead initiatives to enhance candidate experience and company visibility.

  21. Oversee employee engagement campaigns for talent attraction.

  22. Process Excellence & Technology

  23. Optimize the recruitment tech stack (ATS, sourcing tools, assessments).

  24. Drive automation and analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.

  25. Implement best practices for data-driven hiring and predictive talent analytics.

  26. Leadership Hiring

  27. Personally lead hiring for senior leadership & critical roles.

  28. Build succession pipelines in collaboration with HRBP & L&D teams.

  29. Compliance & Reporting

  30. Ensure compliance with labour laws, audit norms, and data privacy regulations.

  31. Present weekly/monthly reports and dashboards to management.
