Job Title: Assistant Manager – Business Development / Sr. Sales Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to drive end-to-end sales of our HRMS Software Solutions. The role involves managing the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and prospect engagement to product demonstrations, proposal submission, and closure. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR technology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct product demonstrations (online or in-person) to showcase HRMS features and address client requirements.
  • Understand client needs, propose suitable solutions, and manage discussions throughout the sales cycle.
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.
  • Maintain a consistent follow-up process to nurture leads and convert them into clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Pre-sales, Implementation, Support) to ensure smooth transition post-sales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM for leads, opportunities, and pipeline management.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging HR technology solutions.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end B2B sales, preferably in HRMS / ERP / SaaS domain.
  • Ability to understand HR processes and translate business needs into software solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative and customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in software or solution-based sales (preferably HRMS, Payroll, or ERP systems).
