Role & responsibilities: ----

  • Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure timely adherence.
  • Provide guidance to plants on new and evolving legal norms.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety training, and incident reviews.
  • Promote initiatives on energy conservation, waste management, and emission control.
  • Track and report environmental KPIs.
  • Integrate sustainability into site operations. Assist as necessary in implementation of a hazard communication program and preparation of reports.
  • Develop and standardize EHS policies, SOPs, and documentation.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely application & procurement of Certificate of Establishment, Consent to Establish, and Consent to Operate (from relevant authorities (SPCB/CPCB, industrial development bodies).
  • Maintain end-to-end statutory documentation for environmental clearances, licenses, and consent renewals in a centralized and audit-ready format.

Preferred candidate profile: ----

  • • The person should have sound understanding of unit operations, equipment and the processes used for chemicals process industry

Experience: -- At-least 20+ years of experience in chemical process industry/ Red Category Industry.
