Job Description:
The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for driving online sales growth, managing the digital storefront, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all e-commerce platforms. This role combines strategy, analytics, and creativity to optimize website performance, grow traffic, and build brand presence in the digital space.
Key ResponsibilitiesE-Commerce Strategy & Operations
Develop and execute e-commerce strategies aligned with business goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the online store(s).
Manage product listings, pricing, inventory, and promotions.
Website & Platform Management
Ensure website (and marketplaces like shopify, nayka, Myntra, etc. if applicable) is up-to-date and optimized for conversions.
Coordinate with design and technical teams to enhance user experience (UI/UX).
Monitor website analytics, track KPIs, and implement improvements.
Digital Marketing & Sales Growth
Work with the marketing team to drive traffic via SEO, SEM, paid ads, and social media campaigns.
Plan and execute e-mail marketing campaigns, influencer collaborations, and affiliate programs.
Analyze customer behavior to increase repeat purchases and improve conversion rates.
Customer Experience & Service
Ensure smooth order fulfillment, shipping, and return processes.
Monitor customer feedback and resolve escalations to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track sales, performance metrics, and ROI on campaigns.
Provide insights and recommendations to management for growth opportunities.
Team & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (design, marketing, logistics) and external vendors (marketplaces, couriers, agencies).
Train and supervise junior e-commerce staff if applicable.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in design/fashion.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.) and marketplaces.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
