Solar Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for passionate and skilled Solar Engineers to join our growing team. The candidate will be directly involved in solar project execution, site installation, and commissioning activities. The role requires solid technical knowledge of solar PV systems, hands-on field experience, and the ability to supervise manpower at different project sites across India.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute solar PV installation at project sites (rooftop & ground-mounted).
Conduct detailed site inspections before, during, and after installation.
Ensure proper installation, wiring, cabling, earthing, and compliance with safety protocols.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and smooth operation of solar modules, inverters, and related equipment.
Monitor daily progress and ensure projects are executed within timelines and quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors, clients, and company teams to resolve on-site challenges.
Troubleshoot issues during installation and provide quick technical solutions.
Maintain daily/weekly site reports and submit progress updates to management.
Ensure material handling, storage, and usage at site is as per standard practice.
Train site workers and local manpower on basic solar installation practices and safety.
Support Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities after project commissioning.
Assist in preparing documentation for net-metering and grid connectivity.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Solar knowledge is mandatory).
Experience: 1–3 years of field experience in solar installation & commissioning (freshers with solar knowledge can also apply).
Strong knowledge of solar PV installation, cabling, electrical testing, and safety compliance.
Ability to handle manpower and coordinate with multiple stakeholders at project sites.
Good communication & problem-solving skills.
Must be flexible for Pan-India travel and long-term site postings.
