Poultry Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our poultry animal feed sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of poultry nutrition, feed products, and sales strategies. This role involves driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities in the poultry sector.
1) Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for poultry feed products.
2) Identify and build relationships with poultry farmers, integrators, distributors, and feed retailers.
3) Provide technical guidance on feed formulations, additives, and nutrition to customers.
4) Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
5) Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
6) Train and mentor the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
7) Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products.
Preferred candidate profile
1) Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, or related field; MBA in Marketing is a plus.
2) Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in sales of poultry feed, feed additives, or animal nutrition products.
3) Strong knowledge of poultry nutrition, feed formulations, and livestock management.
4) Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
5) Proficiency in MS Office and Using emails.
6) Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend events.
