Role Overview

The Manager – Finance will work directly with the Founder, supporting his personal and business finance ecosystem. The role combineshands-on financial management, commercial acumen, investment management and strategic coordination across multiple ventures.

The incumbent will serve as a trusted financial partner, ensuring strong controls, visibility on cash flows, and timely compliance across the Founder's professional and personal finance portfolio. Portfolio includes investments, hospitality & real estate (hotel/restaurant).

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Personal and Investment Finance

  • Manage the Founder's personal financial accounts, investments, and tax compliances in coordination with advisors and accountants.
  • Track income, expenses, and asset portfolios across business and personal holdings.
  • Support documentation, due diligence, and planning for new investments or ventures.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments, reimbursements, and banking transactions.

2. Business Finance and Oversight

  • Oversee financial health and reporting across multiple ventures (hospitality, consulting, and other businesses).
  • Consolidate MIS, cash flow, and profitability reports from different entities.
  • Conduct cost–benefit and ROI analysis for ongoing and proposed projects.
  • Review contracts, leases, and vendor agreements from a financial and risk standpoint.

3. Coordination and Compliance

  • Liaise with the CFO and central finance team to maintain unified reporting and compliance standards.
  • Ensure all filings, payments, and statutory obligations (TDS, GST, etc.) are completed on time.
  • Maintain organized records and trackers for audits and legal documentation.
  • Will ensure smooth running of family & business affairs, assist in investment planning, manage family philanthropic activities as well as commercial ventures

4. Strategic and Analytical Support

  • Develop succinct dashboards and summaries for the Founder, highlighting key insights and risk areas.
  • Assist with financial feasibility analyses for new business ideas.
  • Support planning for capital allocation and cash flow optimization.

5. Governance, Confidentiality, and Ethics

  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all financial and business matters.
  • Exercise sound judgment and integrity while handling sensitive financial information.
  • Act as a reliable, professional representative of the Founder in financial coordination with external partners.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; (CA/CA inter preferred with sound commercial knowledge).
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or business finance.
  • Prior exposure to multi-entity businesses, hospitality, or investment setups desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and coordination skills; strong command over Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Tally, ERP).

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and market benchmarks
