Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Asian and Indian/Tandoor cuisines, located in Salcette. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within their specialty. Additional tasks include ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety, assisting the Executive Chef in developing new dishes and menus, and overseeing the commis chefs. The role also involves constantly learning and improving culinary techniques and providing support to the overall kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills in Asian cuisine (1 position)
- Culinary skills in Indian/Tandoor cuisine (1 position)
- Ability to prepare and present high-quality dishes
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations
- Experience in menu development and new dish creation
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications
