_The Commis I Chef is responsible to prepare a consistent, high-quality food product, ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service and _Hotels_ _operational standards. You will be also responsible for assisting CDP and Sous Chef in cooking and then ensuring that all stations are clean._
- **Commis I Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- As a Commis, you are also expected to comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies._
- Assist management in hiring, training, _scheduling_, evaluating, counselling, motivating and _coaching_ _employees serve as a role model._
- Accepting store deliveries are also part of the Commis I Chef duties._
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and _cost_ _control._
- Control food stock and _food cost_ _in his section/kitchen._
- Cook food and prepare top-quality _menu_ _items in a timely manner._
- Communicate_ _assistance needed during busy periods._
- Commis I Chef are also required to ensure that all stocks are well maintained._
- Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen._
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared._
- Be Customer Focus first._
- This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs._
- Standing, sitting or _walking_ _for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required._
- Flexibility to work in any dining outlet is also necessary to assist as the business requires._
- **Education**:_
- _High school education or diploma in culinary is required. Basic _computer_ _skills and familiar with _inventory_ _systems._
- **Experience**:_
- _Previous _Hospitality_ _and _Catering_ _industry experience working at a Commis I Chef level in a good-quality restaurant or 5 Star hotel._
- _One to five years of minimum previous experience required in a high _volume_ _kitchen or _full-service_ _hotel._

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹13,056.67 - ₹22,616.15 per month
