**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory & Ordering**: Manage the inventory of Asian ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and quality. Order specialty ingredients as needed.
**Kitchen Management**: Supervise junior kitchen staff (e.g., commis, cooks) and assist with training in Asian cooking techniques, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
**Quality Control**: Ensure food quality and presentation meet the hotel’s standards. Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and visual appeal.
**Menu Development**: Collaborate with the Executive Chef in developing menu items, recipes, and special offerings to reflect seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
**Preparation & Cooking**: Prepare and cook traditional and contemporary Asian dishes, including but not limited to Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Korean, and other regional Asian cuisines.
