Role & responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, understand, and execute the overall marketing strategy for speciality chemicals business, with a focus on market expansion, brand positioning, and customer targeting.
  • Administration of market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the speciality chemicals industry.
  • Educate potential customers about the benefits and applications of speciality chemicals in various industries like automotive, construction, packaging, and textiles.
  • Position the brand as a leader in terms of product quality, sustainability, and innovation within the speciality chemicals market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in industries that use speciality chemicals.
  • Execution of engagement programs in the form of customer satisfaction surveys, feedback, and develops effective communication channels.
  • Execution of sustainable and eco-friendly aspects of speciality chemicals products, given the increasing regulatory and consumer demands for environmentally friendly solutions.
  • Identifying and active searching for new prospects, analysing sales potential and work out sales activities.
  • Coordinating, following up and reviewing the implementation of the sales and marketing plan with regional team members.
  • Review and analysis of imports and exports data and MIS.

Administration of Exhibition Management, Advertising, Events, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

  • A Science Graduate or Chemical Engineering Graduate plus Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field with 5-10 years of experience in the related field.
  • Hands on of experience in marketing, particularly in the chemical or manufacturing industries, with a focus on B2B markets.
  • Strong understanding of the plasticizer related market, trends, and the regulatory environment.
