We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of driversand coordinating logistics operations to meet customer demands. Your ability to lead and inspire your team, coupled with your strong organizational and problem-solving skills, will be key to your success in this role.   Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of drivers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and optimize driver performance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and delivery standards.
  • Communicate with customers to address any delivery-related inquiries or issues.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain high-quality service.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance overall operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve service quality.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using logistics management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.
