The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis. The person will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the day-to-day activities of the finance team, and foster a collaborative work environment. Key responsibilities include bank and balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining schedules, performing variance analysis, and reviewing the activities in the general ledger process.What this job involves:Manage the day-to-day activities of the finance team and ensure the completion of all general ledger-related tasks.Prepare, review, and analyze general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve any variances.Maintain prepaid schedules and perform monthly analysis to ensure accurate recording and amortization of prepaid expenses.Conduct variance analysis on key expense and revenue accounts to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure accruals and expenses are accounted for appropriately in a timely and accurate manner.Enforce compliance with Firm's financial, operating policies/procedures, and SOX requirements.Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including preparing financial statements and schedules.Drive finance process improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency and standardization.Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required.Sound like you? To apply you need to be:Degree in Accounting , M.com & MBA) or relevant professional accountancy qualification.Preferably 4-6 years of working experience with regional exposure in MNC and/or audit experience with Big 4.Strong Excel skills.Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with all levels of managementStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with a high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Ability to work across various time zones based on business needs.
