Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Specialist
to join our Finance team. This role involves handling day-to-day accounts payable operations, including expense processing, journal entries, reconciliation, and financial accuracy. The candidate will also manage GST-related compliance and apply Indian accounting practices in daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payments accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accounts payable records and ensure accurate journal entries.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with
    Indian accounting standards
    and
    GST regulations
    .
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Support the finance team with audits and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Finance
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    Indian accounting principles
    and
    GST compliance
    .
  • Proficiency in managing expense reports, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • MS Excel (mandatory)
    ; experience with accounting software/ERP (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
