Our history

Over the past two years we've grown Merlin from zero to 2 million users and raised over $8M in funding from Better Capital plus leaders from HubSpot, OYO, and Uber.

Our product helps people research, create content, and take action right in their workflow.

Now we're doubling down on something that is fundamentally important for humans to achieve AGI. Personal context and long-term memory. Very soon people will rely on AI around the clock. For taking decisions and doing tasks. But AI today is like a smart person with amnesia. It doesn't have the context of your life. It can only rely on info you give it in writing (which is limited), but can't do anything else. We'll solve this.

What began as a chrome extension with just browser context, is evolving into an always-on mobile app, a Mac client, and more. It's software that listens to everything you say and do, and ultimately helps you think better.

To achieve this we aim to build the world's best team across functions, and we're searching for top-tier growth marketers to join us to help run the ship.

What this role is about:

Your job is simple, help Merlin and Thine grow.

And do whatever it takes to do that with efficiency and integrity.

You'll start by 10x-ing our already working influencer program, paid Meta ads, UGC, SEO… whatever moves the graph. And then grow towards figuring out new channels for growth.

You live where trend-spotting, creative storytelling, and hard math meet, and you have the grit to turn ideas into revenue.

What you will own:

  • TL;DR: Few of the levers that will bend the growth curve.
  • Creator engine - Identify A-list talent, craft briefs that convert, automate outreach, and scale the program from thousands to millions of views a day.
  • Paid acquisition – Plan budgets, launch experiments, and optimise all paid campaigns.
  • Lifecycle & retention – Write the emails, build user journeys, and tune the in-product nudges that turn signups into power users.
  • Product-led growth – Spot viral loops hiding in the product, get engineers to ship them, and measure the compounding lift.
  • Analytics & forecasting – Build dashboards, cohorts, and forward-looking models that drive every decision; the moment a number wobbles, you pinpoint the "why" and trigger the fix.

What you bring

Must haves:

  • Pedigree – Tier-1 undergrad, Tier-1 MBA, or Tier-1 startup/agency exp
  • Proof of work – Jaw-dropping track record that speaks louder than pedigree.
  • Hustle – You should be able to drive outcomes & leverage resources.
  • Leadership – You might need to lead a team of interns, contractors, etc
  • Creative aptitude – You should be able to iterate well on ideas, scripts, etc.
  • Math – Ability to calculate potential ROAS based on available data.
  • Synergy – Strong communication, organization, creative and analytical skills.

Good to haves:

  • 3 to 4 years of hands-on marketing experience (agency or in-house) would be preferable but not mandatory
  • Great first principles thinking
  • Proven track record of hitting growth targets
  • Passion for AI and emerging tech trends.
  • Basic metric fluency: CTR, CPM, CAC, ROAS, LTV.

Why you might pass

If you need rigid lanes, default to consensus, or prefer 100% remote, this won't fit. You don't want to focus on growth channels. If you are not in a stage of life where you want to take up the startup challenge (which involves investing in a lot of time, blood and sweat) and invent things from scratch then this won't fit.

Having an optimistic take for the future and believing in the potential of AGI is a real must-have. It's easy to find out how 10 things won't work out than 1 that would. If you don't want to spend the mental energy of making things work out and sometimes being irrationally optimistic, then this won't fit.
