Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Executive will build and nurture relationships with travel agents across Country/Region to promote properties of Tamara Portfolio.

The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and ensuring exceptional client experiences to boost occupancy and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Agent Management:

  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with travel agents and tour operators across the Country.
  • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase the unique offerings of our Luxury resorts and business hotels.
  • Negotiate contracts, commission structures, and partnership agreements with travel agents.

Business Development:

  • Generate leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings for group and individual travel.
  • Identify new market segments (e.g., corporate retreats, weddings, wellness tourism) to expand business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the luxury travel sector.
  • Provide insights to the management team to refine marketing and sales strategies for both properties.

Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for travel agents, addressing queries and ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Collaborate with resort operations teams at Tamara Coorg and Tamara Kodaikanal to meet client expectations.

Sales Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bookings, and agent performance in CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales targets, pipeline, and market feedback.

Brand Promotion:

  • Represent Tamara Coorg and Tamara Kodaikanal at travel trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials tailored for travel agents.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to travel frequently to meet agents across regions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused with a passion for luxury hospitality.
